thats awesome. a stock banshee puts out 37 hp I believe. I know a guy with a 420cc trinity banshee that puts out around 100hp. it does 100mph easy

Thanx guys. This has been a long term project that I have picked at for about 6 months. The only parts other than the body and seat that are original blaster are the rear 6 inches of the swingarm, the front suspension and it's mounts, the top and bottom ends of the steering column and the rear (seat) subframe.I wanted to build a frame that the orinal body would fit on but it had to be 3" taller and 2" longer.I have a good tubing bender and made the frame from 1" tubing. The difficult part was that it had to be bent in 2 planes. The width needed to mount the tank and seat, the width to clear the oil pan and the width to go between the header tubes were all different.If you look at the pic of the front of the engine you can just see how the downtubes bend in and back out to squeeze between the headers.I built the swingarm using 1" chromed shaft,3 needle roller bearing (4th one in the Delrin chain roller)and 3 needle thrust bearings.I built a new rear center axle carrier getting rid of the stock ball bearing and using tapered roller bearings and races.Also installed a Wilwood race car caliper in the rear.Future plans include machining up new front spindles to install disc brake. I will also be install race car coilovers on the front as the stock spring rate is too soft for the added weight.It is built for trail riding but I plan on throwing slicks on it and suiting up in my leathers including body armor, and see what it will do in the quarter.
