I really gotta figure out how to post more than one pic at a time:laugh:
All that this one really needs is good detailing, polishing the alumnium, and $150 of ignition work(Dyna S,and some new wires). And some fork seals. And some Superbike bars. And a new seat cover. And some stainless allens. But should be able to pull it for $750/$800-and I'm cool with that.
All in all a productive day.

Nice bikes, the KZ750Es. I got mine from behind a frat house at UC Berkeley, looked like it had been there for a number of years. The superbike bars are a good mod, and beyond that there is not much else they need to look and ride great. My son is using that bike now, and he likes it too, even though he is only 22 years old and thinks anything without a lot of plastic isn't a real sport bike. He is young, so I will forgive him, for now.

This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

Yes he is young even though I am one year older than him. To me they don't feel like sport bikes till you change the handle bars, but I am not looking to kill myselfon a sportbike, all that plastic wouldnt save you in the accident, ya need real solid metal to do that! So Wharfrat,"and some" whatelse? Good work though, wish I can do my fork seals

Then painted all the plastics. That Krylon Fusion paint seemed to work pretty good.

Next up-the swingarm. Hit it with 3 coats of duplicolor Cast Coat alum. followed up by 3 coats of clear. Also came out good.
