Guages? With those bars you don't need guages. Unless you want something to rest your chin on.

I'm not normally into that style because of my old back but they are really looking slick. I can certainly see the work put into all of them.

Sure it looks OK now, but wait until I really make it pretty, with some chrome and paint and some new tires and grips and the wiring. Don't forget the gearing, and the LED's and, and, and....

No, you're gonna want to know certain things... like how fast you're going... and how high your engine's revving... and whether you've lost oil pressure. Little tidbits of information that might just be important.

Just a quick update. This is mostly a mock up, still need to get to work on some things like clear coating the tank and properly mounting the new turn signals and such. I'm almost contemplating leaving the seat as is..

At this point after the awesome Wisconsin weather this weekend, I just want to get out and ride...

I wonder if you can sculpt the back of it down to be more like a corbin or something? Just to get rid of that lip...

Actually I made huge progress today, felt really good :)

Went to the local motoryclye store, Redline cycle, and have to say these guys were awesome just like Todd has said before. I brought my carbs into them, was advised on what jets to pick up and also bought a couple of emgo pod filters from them. So my carbs are getting a nice clean before i re-jet and podify!

Will have some pictures tomorrow but i got around to starting a seat! Got some sheet metal on the frame, bent appropriately and ready to bolt down as my seat pan. Cant wait for the morning to get back to work :)

Whew! Been a busy weekend for me but I got a LOT done :D

My second set of carbs arrived, so I cleaned them out, mixed and matched with my old carbs and got all of the good bits and pieces into one carb body. Check out this poor diaphragm :(

Anyway I replaced that, so all is good. I also went up from 88 main jets to 92.5 which I think is 2 sizes, as far as the motorcycle shop guy told me. I re-jetted because I also installed some pod filters! Will have to wait a while before I can test them out and such but will surely be reporting back with my findings. Glad I dont have to go online to find jets at least, easier to just run over to the store (Major props to Red Line Cycle, Kenosha!)

So, as well as that I have made up a seat pan and rear cowl. Looking a little rough but with some sanding and filing and shaping and painting, i'm thinking it will look half decent. Next I need to buy some foam or some camping mats to cut up and glue on and upholster as my seat.

B) Looking good Rob! I know this is a moot point now,but I could have got you the alum. for nothing at work. Let me know if you need more.
BTW if you are still planning on painting the engine, now would be the time.
