Hello,

My name's John and I'm new to everything applicable here--the site, motorcycles, and repairs. I'm in an interesting situation--I'm not a motorcycle rider (yet), but my wife has some experience, and was given a direlect kz550 by a friend. "We" are going to work on fixing this bike up, which means I'm going to be working on fixing this bike up. ;)

Looks like I'll know a lot about motorcycles before I ever get my M-class license. I'm glad I found this site already.

Welcome John,

I too started out as a non-rider with a non-running Kz400 in the garage.

Now, with the help of the good people here and rec.motorcycles, I've been riding for two years and about 4k miles.
