I came across this site a couple days ago ,i got the bright idea about putting a single shock swingarm on a Z couple years ago,but it looks like a couple hundred people beat me to it(oh well, story of my life)anyway Ive been playing with and collecting z1s & kzs since the mid 70s.I got my first "basket case" 75 z1 in 79 when I was 13 (dad got tired of me wanting to take his kz1000 apart all the time,so he gave me a pile of parts to shut me up)so ive been doing this longer than most.75z1 gone but not forgot,77kz(1170)sitting in corner, dads 78kz sitting incorner,77kz(1428)sitting in corner,76 900ltd gone,75 z1 starting soon(replacement for origional)no restorations here,we like them stripped down, low and very fast.but along the way we do detail every square inch of them.as soon as I can talk the 3rd grader next door into it i will get some pictures on here,i wouldnt have a clue how to put pictures on here! HAPPY WRENCHING LONG LIVE THE 55 CHEVY OF MOTORCYCLES!!!!!!

Welcome to KZR wireguy. Throw up some pictures of your creations when you get that 3rd grader over. I like to see what others have done to their rides. B)
