does anyone know how i could trace where my bike
began life in the states, would i need to use the engine
number and look up some sort of kz archive cheers

I think that Mother Kawasaki has never revealed which bikes went to what countries (and where in each country). I'm also thinking that all 750(4) bikes were made in Japan (and not in Nebraska). In the US, each state controls registration for its vehicles, so if you don't know which state your bike originated from, you'd have to contact 50 state DMV departments and run a check on the frame # (most agencies use this as the identifier). :)
