Howdy,
Bob from Cleveland, Oh, got a 77 KZ400 project for my son. Runs but lots of blowby (valves?) when hot. Low compression too. Need parts sources for pistons, gaskets, valves. Any help appreciated.

Probably one of your best resources will be kz400.com

Down on these pages on the lower right "links" are a good place to start. Of course there's always ebay for stuff too.

Welcome!And we must have pictures.

Hi Bob and welcome. You might want to check this guy out
www.johnnysvintagemotorcycle.com/

He is local (Wadsworth, Oh) and he has a huge stash of vintage Kawasaki parts mostly NOS. Also back in the day when I ran a Kawasaki shop in the Cleveland area we used a guy I think he was on Warner rd. the name of the shop was Mr. Cylinder he used to do all of our cylinder boring. I'm not sure if he is still around you might want to check with local information.
