Hello from Florida USA was created by Matratt3
Hello All,

New member from Florida almost done cleaning up after hurricane Milton. The lesson I learned was to drain the pond BEFORE the storm arrives because the drainage ditches are full after the storm and there is nowhere to send the water. Luckily the water went away in a few days.

I enjoy tinkering but am more of a biologist than a mechanic. It is rewarding when I repair or service something and frustrating when it does not work as you all know.

I happy to find this group of experienced folks that may be able to keep me riding.

Regards,
Matratt

It's a 1987 KZ305 that I bought a little over 10 years ago with only 500 miles on it.

Today has over 15,000 miles and has had the main bearing replaced, voltage regulator, fuel petcock, and upgraded the front light to halogen and the rear light to a brighter bulb. My first and only bike.

Welcome aboard. I am not a biologist, but am a fan of Star Trek. I use that same icon for virtual meetings at work.

It makes sense if you have seen that original star trek episode.

Always gives me a chuckle.
