Hello all, Please can any one tell me, What is the standard compression for a kz750 e1 1980. Ad I can't find a reference to this.

Most of the guys here seem to get around 150 from a healthy 750 (below from the FSM)

As noted in the manual, the engine needs to be fully warmed up.  Also, the throttle held wide open, choke off.

And it goes without saying, that the valves must be at the proper clearance.  Many people neglect valve adjustment, which leads to compression loss and engine damage.  Lastly, if the bike has sat for some time, you won't get a proper compression result.  Some miles are needed for the rings to get loosened up and sealing best they can.
