KZ650B1 New Owner in New Zealand. was created by kimchella
Hi Guys, I thought I would give a quick introduction of myself and bike.
I live in Sunny New Zealand, and have ridden bikes for the majority of my live.
I recently bought a bike that was imported into NZ from the States.
It is a 1976 Kawasaki KZ650B1, and after purchasing it, found that it might be one of the oldest around.
Its details are;-
Frame is ;- KZ650B000225 , and engine is ;- KZ650BE000177.
As you can see, it is a very low production model. From what I know, it was built in Japan and imported into America and assembled in mid 1976, being sold new in California on the 2nd October 1976.
Emerald green, and basically original. It still has the complete tool kit in the Kawasaki bag, and owners handbook with the green Kawasaki on the front.
Many thanks,
Richard.

The bike had the disc and caliper on the wrong side for some reason? so it is now on the right way, and ordered a second hand caliper to put back to how it should be.

Hi, I assume so, as the bike appears to be majority untouched apart from the seat cover and rear shox.
