Hello,
as I am new here and just getting added to the forum. I just picked up a 2006 Kaw ZG1000 Conours and am trying to learn more about the bike from other riders.
Mine has 26,000 miles on the clock and is in good running shape. I jetted the carbs up a little bit and ordered a new K & N air filter for the stock airbox.

I have a 94' ZG 1000 Concours and it's a great sport touring bike. I've done a lot of mods to improve performance and handling. Check out murphskits.com for Concours specific parts and service parts.
I've done a big brake kit, fork brace, Progressive fork springs, ZZR 1200 rear shock, Clearview windscreen with a Goldwing vent, tip over bars, drilled out the lollipop baffles from mufflers and the best mod of all a set of Shouldabeen Eng. torque cams.
I bought mine in 2017 and have done road trips up to two weeks long. It's the best long distance bike I have ever ridden. It will do everything a Goldwing will do without grinding parts off.
