Hello!

I am new to motorcycles and have been working with somebody more experienced to take the top end apart so we can replace the engine gaskets. That said, my mentor is not experienced with these bikes in particular; are there any tips and tricks or things to watch out for during this process? What's the best way to ensure the timing chain gets reinstalled correctly? Any help is appreciated!

Do you have the factory Kawasaki manual for your bike?  If not, getting one is a good place to start.  Note: OEM Kawasaki manual, not Clymers or Haynes.
