Glad to be on here,  I rode a z900 or kz  900 about 45 years ago for just a bit. (Borrowed) and just now getting a kz900 of my own.  I’m trying to determine if I want to put  money in it knowing there are a lot of kz’s. Out there . And finding out oem parts are hard and pricey to come by .

Anyway I’m sure I’ll sink money into her and cruise a bit.  I currently drive a Harley street glide and it’s like night and day 

I hope to get some great input from any member that will share

Welcome to our version of fun.  As long as you're not going to be looking only for all original, NOS, and date correct parts for a perfect restoration, you'll find that there are plenty of reproduction and aftermarket parts available to keep your vintage KZ running,  The 70's and 80's KZ motorcycles are popular enough to have created a larger aftermarket than a lot of other older bikes.  The members here are always willing to share their knowledge and experience to help you out.
