TexasKZ post=868238 Very nice, though the flag decal on the right side is backwards.

You are correct! Never knew proper flag decal etiquette... thanks! I'll get that changed very shortly.

Welcome. I’m not by any means a Kz1000c expert but I’m seeing things on this bike I have never seen. The gauges and sun shade, the baton holder. Very cool.

Thanks! It's a pretty detailed machine.

Nice KZP. And, with all the necessary accouterments. Is it legal to ride in your area?
My KZp is fitted with the absolutely must-have item for a cop bike.

Not really but this is one of three bikes and two cars so she only gets limited riding time... I have vinyl covers for the front lights I stick on them. Thanks!

Cool and notice the “Blue Light “ Genesee beer tray” and “Courier Express”…..in the cave. Fond back home memories of my youth,I grew up in Tonawanda….and welcome.

Welcome!

Brings back such fond late 70's/ early 80's TV memories of "Poncherello" and "Jon" in CHiPs!
4 wheels could never out-run 'em!
Awesome machines!

H.

Pretty close... those were '80 and older with just the windshield, Kawasaki switched over to the fairings in '81 but I loved that show so it counts! Thanks!!

Welcome Wally.
Very nice rides you have, and Cave to store them in.

John, a good friend who passed away, had a Police KZ1000.
His not quite as original as yours.
Did a section of the KZR relay with him 10 years ago.

Sorry for your loss, it seems I've lost a few buddies every year over the last five years... great memories though, can't lose them!! Thanks! (cool bikes, looked like a blast!)

I also have a '99 HD Fatboy, a '76 Triumph T140V, and two mini bikes I put together a few months ago. I was forced to write up the misses last week... darn punks and their mini bikes! LOL Have fun!!
