Hi guys, Kevin here I'm resurrecting my 1980 KZ100 MKII 1105cc that has been sitting unused in my garage for 30 years. I gave it a good wash changed the oil stuck in a new battery and slapped on a new set of RS 36 carbs and I'll be damned it if didn't Roar to life. So now begins the labor of love to get it back on the road. This looks like a great place to start.

Congratz referman. I'm quite envious. Very nice.

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!

Welcome!! Doesn't look like you will have a lot to do from the photos. Great looking bike. I had a buddy that had one in red. I remember it was pretty stout. Yours looks great!! Always liked the lines on this model.
Will watch & see the progress & see if I can be of any assistance.
Where did you find the carbs? I have been looking for a set for some time now.
I too , am a little jealous. HA!!

Thanks Kawnut, I found the Mikuni RS Series Carburetor (RS36-D3 K) on Amazon of all places for $649.00 now waiting for the new clutch plates and springs, an Earls 13 row oil cooler and lines. Anybody know a good place to get rebuild kits for brakes? also any recommendations on tires.
