Got an 82 750 LTD...14,000 miles. Haven't brought it home yet...it's about 40 miles away in a shed. I've been helping a widow get rid of her late husband's bikes & parts and generally helping her get back on her feet. I hooked a battery charger to it and it fired up...idled and revved just fine. No brakes at the moment. Tires probably too old. I can work on it there when the weather breaks and ride it home. Obviously not a LTD seat ...it's hooked up to the hinges & I think I like it better than the stock seat. Looks like some sort of dirtbike handlebars....I like the lower bars too. Oh, BTW, she gave me the bike for free.

Had I known I'd live this long I'd have taken better care of my Led Zeppelin albums

Welcome BobZ,
The 750/4 is a great bike. Yours looks in good shape and the fact that it runs has you off to a good start.
If you want a manual you can download one here. Click on Articles Tab above then Service manuals and select the Gpz750 one which covers all the 750/4s.

Interesting airbox you have. Never seen one of those.

It's a home made plastic rain guard over pod filters. If it runs ok I'll leave them it on, if not I'll get an airbox and put it back on....the airbox might even be there among the parts pile.

Welcome. I've never seen carbs painted like that before...
Yes, an airbox would be a good thing to have.

Howdy. There's a Kawasaki 750-4 chain drive FSM floating around the internet. It may be linked here on KZR. Yellow-gold cover w color wiring diagrams. There's also a black-&-white version available, so be sure to get the good one.
