Hello to all. My name is Steve from VA. I've been a Kawasaki owner since the 70s. Met a gentleman with a new 1976 KZ900 LTD at a gas station. Never have seen anything like it. Had to buy one for myself. Sad to say he passed not long ago. Still had his LTD when he passed as I still have mine. My son purchased his bike from his wife and gave it to me for Father's Day 2020. Now I have 2. Thanks for letting me join KZRider. I look forward to this new adventure.

The 900 LTD I just received is in poor condition to say the least. The building it was stored in collapsed a couple years ago and the roof had to be removed in pieces to uncover the bike. It had also fallen through the floor. When my son delivered the bike to me, it was missing several items. He and I went to the location this past week and tore out the rest of the roof and the walls and began a search for missing parts. I'll attach a few pics to show some parts of the bike, but I won't post a pic of the entire bike out of respect of my friend who has passed. The pic with the exhaust and a rear wheel. That wheel was an extra that is an Enkei rear wheel from a KZ 1000, I think 1978. The 900 still has original Morris and actually original tires. This bike has been in the building since 1982.
The only major things missing are the tank (rusted out and was removed to be repaired and disappeared along with the guy that was to repair it), front fender, original grab bar behind the seat(has a sissy bar same as the one on my other bike - my avatar pic) and mirrors. The pic of the speedo is the correct mileage. The pic is of the bottom of the front wheel and a cover I have on it on my carport. And the pic of the side covers shows 1 clean with only soap and water and the other. Both were not attached to the bike. We had to dig through a lot of *%#& to find them. They had fallen through the floor also. I will add some other pics later.

Is your second bike also a 1976 LTD? If so good find on the RH side cover. They are used on that year only and not easy to come by. Unfortunately so is the rear seat stay (Grab Bar)
