Hi KZ community, I found this page recently and came across a lot of information regarding KZ's, but I didn't want to join not until I got my first Kz, which I did and well..here I am B).
The bike is a KZ400K (aka kz400ltd the 4 cylinder version) I plan to restore and personalise it a bit with reversible modification so I can keep the original look. :silly:

Welcome! That's a pretty interesting bike you have. I think it will be similar to the 550's.

In my signature you will find a lot of 550 information. Some of it will pertain to your bike. There are some manuals etc too if you follow the links. Definitely read the valve train warning before opening the valve cover.

Welcome aboard! If you do not own a Kawasaki Service Manual I would urge you to buy one that covers your specific model and year bike. Until then you may find some useful info at www.kzrider.com/modules/ServiceManuals/Kz400500550_79to83.pdf . Ed
