Joining up as I am planning a winter project on a ‘82 KZ 750 E
I had always had a soft spot for the four cylinders of this era. Found this one in rough shape for cheap this spring. It had been dropped once or thrice, and a loose chain had eaten the cover, hadn’t been registered for six years.
Over the summer I have put it back together, and am a little wiring away from running. Then it appeared I had lost the title, and I put everything on hold. With the title relocated, I am selling my KTM 690 and taking on this bike as a project for the winter.
I have been riding for three summers now, and had the most fun exploring gravel roads around the region.
My vision for the bike, is first a reliably running bike, then something to ride gravel roads, third add a little style of my own.
So I am here to learn more about this bike, find inspiration and parts.

Welcome, your bike will be a lot of fun on the roads around you and should handle high altitudes well, put 85 octane in it for the mountains if you can find it.
I heard Bear Tooth Pass got a foot of snow last night.
