New guy with a KZP was created by Fielding_Fabrication
Hi there! ive been lurking on this site for a while, and finally decided to make an account. I currently have 3 KZPs but am only really working on 2 of them. the first one i have attatched photos of. thats my project/daily. the second one i have not taken many photos of it, but its just a stocker with a supposedly only 17k on it. It makes some timing chain noise on start up though, so im not quite sure of that 17k vs 117k... either way, im working on getting it all up to trustworthy standards for daily duties. more photos are up on my instagram page @fielding_Fabrication

Could or could not have the 17k. Chain Guides get brittle after time. You could also have a stuck chain adjuster.
Regardless, welcome to the formum! I dig your bike... look at my signature and you'll see I have a soft spot for the KZPs!
Take care!

hey Ed, I did pull the adjuster and regrease it. its pretty close to at the limit though, but the bike quieted down slightly after this. next move will be new guides. if those dont work then ill have to move onto doing the chain. once a pop that valve cover, i should hopefully get a good idea of if its 117k or 17k on it.

Just out of curiosity, what type of fender is that on the back of your bike?
Dyna by any chance?
