I've had the Z650 for about 3 weeks

I got it for my L's/P's as we have LAMs here in NSW.
I first learned to ride a bike at 14 (wow, that's 10 years ago now!) on a Honda XL185S

How about that! you must be a wisker younger than me, 'cos I started on an XL175 B)

A fantastic little bike to learn on aren't they?
My mate's dad had an XL175 that we used to ride around in their back yard (until he dropped it and screwed the front mud guard and we spent all afternoon rushing around trying to get it fixed )
I rode mine around the farm all the time. You could never kill the thing. It just kept going!

Back on topic though :P

Graeme that's quite a long ride from North Vic to Qld. I'm jealous! It sounds great!
