Owners Manual for 82 KZ750-N1 Spectre Shaft Drive?

Does anyone have an emailable or downloadable owner's manual for my U.S. model 1982 KZ550-N1 Spectre, shaft drive, 4-cylinder?

I'm getting close to having it revived and would like to make sure I at least read through its owner's manual. For example: I just bought a new foam air filter; I "assume" that I'm supposed to oil it first (I have spray-on foam filter oil for all the other motor toys that use foam filters); but I also have a second Kawasaki I'm rebuilding (1988 454 LTD) and it has a sticker on the air filter box that says "NO OIL". So I have to wonder -- does Kawasaki use filters that aren't supposed to be oiled or something?

Little things like that would all be answered in an owner's manual. I went to the Kawasaki corp site and it had a link to download the owner's manual for free; but when i clicked the link a new box popped up saying something like "This manual is not available for download at this time." I also searched this site for a pre-posted manual; maybe I used the wrong search string but I couldn't find one.

Would appreciate one from anyone who has it. Thanks. -Robert

Im going to assume no one ever told you how to get your hands on a manual for free... i just got a hold of the very same motorcycle and i've been pondering the very same question.. Have you found one or did you just give in and purchase one?

I've never seen a pdf for the 750 shaft.

Search ebbaayy for KZ750 Shaft Manual. There are a few for cheap, including a factory service manual for less than $20 shipped. For an owner's manual, try KZ750 Spectre manual.

I have The KZ Shaft manual for My specific 83 Spectre. It is a completely separate manual from all of the other KZs...

I found mine a long time ago online, at a printing house, that printed Me a copy about (7) seven, or ( eight years ago. It cost Me a bundle.

You might find it at eBay now.

However, to answer Your question, I've NOT ever seen a .PDF copy that has been uploaded.

I also haven't had the time, or the initiative to make a .PDF copy, though when needed, I've uploaded various pages to a couple of KZ groups that I belong to on fb. My main reason is because I don't know if the copyright is out, on the manual, or if it's still current. Plus the fact that I had to pay a ton of money to get this particular Shop Manual.
