Hello fellow Kawi lovers! was created by KawiJoe
Just wanted to say hello to all of you out there that share the passion for old KZs.
My first KZ was a '77 650B. That was 15 years ago, but I never stopped loving these bikes.
I now have a silver '82 KZ1000 J2 with 17,000kms on it. I bought it a couple of months ago from the original owner who had it stored for the last 18 years. He had the carbs redone (sort of?),new battery, brakes rebuilt and gave it a general tune up. It runs pretty good, but I plan on giving it a rebuild/overhaul during our very long Canadian winter (yuk!).
I'll no doubt have many questions for you all to help me out with and hopefully I could help out some of you in return.
Talk to you soon, Joe

Welcome to KZR Joe. Where abouts in Canada are you?

I've always wanted a bigger KZ. Always have my eyes open for a good deal. Post up a pic of yours in the Gallery when you get a chance. B)
