Pic of my just finished Project , I know its a honda But this is what I do , It is based on a 82 Honda FT500 Ascot , It has been cut 4 " in the rear to make the seat fit ,CBRF1 600 forks and wheels , Suzuki750 headlight , JC Whitney gauges , The engine has a 541 kit , with 10-1 piston , Head was sent to Toad Town Racing in California for a stage 1 porting and 3 angle vale job over 600.00 in work was done , Cam is a mid range from White Brothers , Supertrapp pipe , Painted in Duplicolor wheel paint Yes the White and silver are spray cans , The Yellow sprayed by a friend Mark with Sherwin Willams Ford Chrome Yellow ,,, I have posted how I got in to Kawasakis .. I and Ebay being a big part of it , I hope to start on my 1981 550A in the next couple of days , I have 1983 tank , sidecovers and tail panel ,, The Black with red , orange yelowish stripes on them ,, The Big 550 on the tail panel , It will also have a Kerker pipe , Jet Kit Stage 1 , , Of Course the 77 650 with the 1982 750 will be after that .. Good Typeing at you , and look forward to maybe meeting some of you close here in Ohio .. Thanks Dave

Shoe,

I love the Ascots, I had a shot at a v-twin model but the seller had a change of heart. I would still like to get one. I didn't know they had some performance parts for the single model, there seems to be next to nothing for the v-twin. Maybe I should look for a single ? :)

Would you upload some close ups somewhere, full size?

Some of the Single Cyl. Ascot HP parts are no long around,, Like the Exhaust pipe .. Riding a Thumper is a love all its own,, You either like it or not ,, My everday bike is a Black 82 FT500 Ascot Gets almost 70 MPG so I ride it most ,, Performance is not anywhere near what a KZ650 would be,, But I like it ,, The Bike I built in the Picture is about a step down from a full blow race bike ,, Flat track or in my case Street Tracker ,, It should be in the 40hp range maybe a little more ,, It weighs in the 275# range ,, Think of the weight to HP ratio then how light it will handle Very Cool bike , I am still working the Bugs out as I am getting very close to hitting the mark with all the warm weather we had here in Ohio Looks like that is over now though .. Wheelie machine in low gear at will.. I know it will pull Most Harleys off the line at traffic lights ..Looking forward to that , Thanks for all the great comments .. Keep the Shiny side up , Now that I have figured out pics on here I will post more of the Kawasakis I have Dave: :) :S

Handle every situation like a dog,
If you can't eat it or hump it,
Piss on it and walk away!

OK, will keep eye out. Nothing fancy here. Just a spare stock. Pretty beat up but useable.
