Well I am not exactly a new member but plan on acutaly working on my bike now that I have space. I got my KZ about 2 years ago for a wopping 200$ and it was running. I couldent pass up a deal like that. I am planning on going the cafe racer way possibly adding a GS1100 swingarm. Mostly this winter will be a general cleanup repainting (kawa green) and tune up to the whole structure. I have attatched some pictures showing the original bike as it sat in my Dads Barn and some dismantling and moving the bike to my new house by placing it into the back of my Acura RSX-S. It was the fastest way I have found to put and extra 65 horsepower into an acura yet.

Holy $h@t! I thought putting one into the back of a minivan was pushing it. How much did you drop the back end when doing that?

Welcome to KZR jabberwocky. Were you able to get the whole bike in the back of your car in one shot?

I too have a 650 I'm going to Cafe somewhat over the Winter. Actually tonight I finally got off my butt and started to take things off and do some figuring on what I'm going to need to do.

Keep us posted on the progress, with lots of pics. B)

Actualy it wasnt to bad with the sport suspension however my snow traction went right out the window with the extra weight and front wheel drive. And yes the whole bike is in there as well as some presents from Christmas. Thank goodness for hatchbacks. Now she is sitting in my basement awating my free time.

hahaha that reminds me of that picture where the guy tried to haul home like 30 sheets of plywood on the top of his compact car and broke the car in half.

Should be a fun project though! As usual, keep everyone posted as you progress.
