new KID in town... was created by cuddies
Hey guys, new here. I was browsing around for info/parts/knowledge about my rebuild, and I came across this site. I was browsing around for a few weeks and finally said shoot, I need to join ")...

Anyways, I am only 17 and don't ride street bike (parents won't let me have a license yet), but that is ok. I am the mechanic in the family. I am currently rebuilding my dads 76 KZ900 A4, which has been sitting since 87 when my mom made him stop riding (older brother was born!)

I am still in high school with a 3.4GPA, so I am a good kid (lol), and LOVE LOVE LOVE to work on motors. I ride a 2002 CR250 (dirt bike), and compete competitively at NAHA Hillclimbs. I do all my own work on pretty much everything, my dirt bike, street bikes, cars, whatever it be. I love the computer and I love talking about bikes.

I hope to learn alot more information from this site (definitely stuff to learn here..), and also plan on helping others out. Just thought I would say hello, and very happy to be here.

FWIW, dads bike I'm restoring...

I'm in Concord, CA- about 30 miles east of San Fransisco.

Thanks, my dad kept good care of the bike, all that dirt and dust crap is from the 20 years of sitting.

On a side note, I noticed that my original post was edited by "kzrider", I'm assuming a mod. I am pretty sure he edited it to downsize the picture, so I was wondering what size that is, so for further pictures I post, I can size them correctly :)

click on the {help} button at the top of the forum page, it'll tell you everything you need. I think 550 pixels wide will fit, but 500 is an easy number to remember.

Welcome! What a cool bike to have to play with! You're lucky to have such a good head start. My dad never had any cool things like that to work on. :)

I've been reading your other posts... u need a manual bud! It will help you take a few extra steps you hadn't thought of to really get the bike going good. (Such as getting a good valve seat fit)

Oh, and add your location to your signature line. Again, welcome! Cheers!

Matt
