I listed myself on that club interactive map I am in cartersville,ga. I used to live in wa puget sound area.
I still have lots of family in your area and in kenniwick too and a couple in portland.
hey got bike today 82 1000
Needs the front forks repacked,
needs rear brake disk and pads, need fuel tank petcock/selector, new tires,
new or used bars and grips cant stand the originals, new plug connector for the voltage regulator wires burnt there and plug is welded together.
has one stress crack on L/h gusset to frame just infront of the tank. and a manuel for the motor.
has 23,571 orig miles.
Has had a front end job before so I suspect it was replaced which explains the low miles.
Would like a replacement master brake cyclinder it still worked but has flakes and white mag powder.
The blue paint is still very nice. no tank dents or rot. I really dont know what it is worth but I always wanted one and this one starts and is intact for $600
oh yeah the rear turn sig mounting holes are broke out. will weld them or mount lights to a sissy bar gotta go one of my workers wants me to check his time for last week. If you know any good sources hook me up i dont anything about it or who what and where. talk later thanks for the reply steven b

Yes I am very happy so please dont inform me if it was over priced because I diddnt even try to talk the guy down on the price. oh miles also effected by his loss of an arm 8 years ago. he rides again but just started again last year has the massive 1800kawi.
I am hoping that he just had an accident hooking up a battery charger over the years and that was what welded the regulator wires together. Anyhow I wont pretend to know alot more than I do about the bike but I have probbably logged that many miles just in 2 years in california on a gs650 15years ago so to me the miles are low. and the power # impresses me compared to a lot of bikes I have rode at 102hp it should have no probb carrying my 5'10 205# butt around. my friend was going to get it to race he has a 750 bored and prepped for race. he is 6,2 280# so if he is putting it down on the new bikes with his giant size I should be able to stick
with them too rite or do I need to go on a diet??:P

Every 750 twin I have had was under 25k miles, and several were under 10k miles, so the miles you state are easily believable.

$600 was a good deal :)

Welcome to KZr justme, and congrats on scoring a deal on your KZ! :)
FWIW, the concensus is that the going rate on most of these old steeds in fair and running condition is about $1 per CC, so you definately did good.

Most of us here get our parts and other goodies from Z1 Enterprises.com , which is owned & operated by Jeff Saunders, one of the many very knowledgable members here. B)

And since no one else mentioned it, we require pics of your new-to-you KZ, regardless of it current condition. ;)
