Welcome aboard. Check www.buykawasaki.com for the part number for your rear brake switch. I have one from a 78 650 part number 27010-017 around here.



Its in the picture right next to the kick starter.

I hope when you jumped it you didnt have the vehicle you jumped it with running, if so check how your battery is charging now with a voltmeter.

We actually used a jump pack to start it. Been there done that :D

Thanks for pointing out the Kawasaki website. I had no idead it was that indepth. Couldn't find the switch, but the one in your picture is it(or really really close to it). Are you willing to part with it? I'm also needing a speedo cable if ya happen to have one :)

apeman, the turn signal switch it still confusing me. It has three positions, not just two for "M" and "A". When its in the middle, it points at the word turn. ????

Ive learned from experience on jumping these bikes also. :(

I dont have a speedo cable but I will part with the brake switch. Check your PMs on the main page.
