Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member as of 12/28/06. I have read articles on KZRider from time to time and figured it was time I join up. I have been riding for over 30 years, but have to admit that my time in the saddle has dropped dramatically over the last 5 years. The Kawasaki's in my past:
`75 KH400, `78 KZ750 Twin, `80 KZ750, `78 Z1R (my current bike). The Z1R has been setting in the garage for a few years and is in need of many minor repairs. Nothing major, but the quantity makes it a big project. I look forward to getting advise and lines on parts from the various forums on KZRIDER.

Other bikes in my past: `73 Honda CB450, `86 Suzuki GSXR750, `74 Yamaha RD250, `76 HD SXT125

Welcome to Kzr! Your Kz might need more than minor work now that it has been sitting for years, like cleaning the carbs, and before you ask for a place to buy parts..... www.Z1enterprises.com has parts for our old bikes at unbelievably low prices. I can tell you that because I am a customer. Plus WireGeorge can help with any carb and engine questions, and don't forget Jeff and evryoneelse here who has encountered these probs
