Read the MegaManual , it will tell you everything you need to know about EFI, and then you can decide if you really want to go EFI.

Not easy, but well worth it IMHO.

Using any 750 Turbo parts (the only fuel injected GPz750) other than the throttle bodies is a bad idea, the stuff is 29-30 years old.

As 30+ year old tech. Just think how brittle the plastic connectors are, and how many have seen computer failure. If you're going to do a conversion, might as well do it right and use current tech.
And yes, I've had a 750 Turbo, and have passed on the opportunity to acquire others. They were the best factory made turbo bike , but that's about all you can say, it's not 1985 any more.

Is there any other throttle body he can use? May be a modern kawasaki or honda... the important thing is the diameter and spacing right?

It would probably be easier to rebuild the carburetors & fully service the bike than convert to fuel injection.

Edit: 750-Twin? 82 CSR?

It would be a whole lot easier and cheaper. Converting to EFI is non-trivial, it requires a large amount of time, effort, and money.

GPz1100 and 750 Turbo are the only direct fit throttle bodies, all others require at minimum re-spacing.

Buy a set of 34mm flatslides (RS34's), I've heard they are fabulous. I think somewhere over $600.
