In 78 there was a kz650 B2 and a B2A which one do you have - there are differences between them. The B2 came stock with vm24ss carbs and the B2A came with vm22ss carbs. I have created a couple of tables that have what I think are the stock carbs and their parts.

Thanks much, and your bike is killer bro. Im going out to garage to get some info from my carbs, and measure some things, i finished rebuilding the engine and finally heard it run. it was a basket case when we bought it on craigslist and never heard it run so it was cool to hear it run albieit not well but it did start. i needed base line to figure jets after mods, wiseco 710 kit, gpz 750 intake cam kz exhaust cam dyna elecs and header. thanks for info it will really help.
