Wow, I did not expect this much chatter. What I would like to get out of this bike is barly street able. I would like to get head work done cams and high comp Pistons. I have quite a few tools torque wrenches and so on. I'm not worried about cruising I have another bike for that. Where do I get head work done and parts that I need for this build. I have 29 smooth bores and open header right now. The way it is geared right now is 13-35. Also how big of cams do I go with?
Thanks

Wow, I must be loosing it. Here is the link guys.

I will tells you, I did not have him do anything serious to my head. I called around to all the bike shops in my area to have the seats redone. They all wanted $400 and up. Without seeing the head they all wanted to replace the guides and valves. I got Charlies number from a Harley guy who swore he was the guy to call. Charlie simply stated bring the head down and we will look at it. He explained to me that the exhaust seats were never that great from the factory and that there was plenty of material in the head and valves, I didn't need to waste money buying new ones. I tried to get him to polish the head and he said to just do seats, tip the valves, replace seals and replace the springs and if I did nothing else it would be a great improvement over stock(this was before I decided to go with 1075 kit cams, P/A ignition, exhaust and RS Mikunis). When I picked up the head he had me bring down the new valves and seals that I bought on line and installed them for me @ no additional charge. The head was vapor blasted and clean enough to eat off of. By far some of the best service I have ever had.
