...Are they the same except for the black paint?

...Comparing photos, they look the same. Oil switch, oil line hook up, all that. Anyone know for sure?

...Thanks in advance. :)

The E model shouldn't have an oil switch on the bottom of the pan, while the GPz's do. Is your 1982 750 a non-E model?

I've got parts and someone is looking for a GPz type pan. GPz I don't have, several KZ750 I do have. The KZ750 pans I've seen have a switch in them. I think I'll check with him, it sounds like he's trying to hook up an oil cooler on a bike (maybe a 650) that doesn't have a cooler. I just need to know if the KZ750 pans with the switch will interchange with a GPz pan. Thanks.

The 83 GPz pan has the fittings for the oil cooler. That may be what he is looking for.

Yes it will, the GPz pan has the oil level sending unit in the pan. I installed a GPz750 pan onto my KZ650 for the oil cooler. Fits like it was made for it, pretty cool mod. I simply guttet the oil sending unit and used it as a plug for the hole.

...Thanks! I though so, just wasn't 100% sure on that.

...I'm sure that's what this person is trying to do.

...Thanks again! :)

Nice clean install here.:D

I bought a later pan with the cooler take offs and cooler from a ZR-7 for install onto my 750E2. The cooler is quite a bit larger than the early cooler and I'm concern about clearance and mounting. At any rate, hope it integrates as nicely as this one. Well done.
