That's a great offer, but I'll have to decline.
As far as a west coast ride, there are some fantastic rides here in the Pacific NW. Hence why I live here. East Oregon has some fantastic riding, along with N. California. Washington has some good riding, but its harder to get clear of traffic. More populated and fewer roads in those beautiful mountains. Here in Oregon, out east there is very little traffic, most roads you will only see a few vehicles and a few other bikes. Great for a spirited ride!! B)

This is my plan. Head south to Tellico Plains and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway to the end maybe head up through New York and back toward Illinois passing by a few bad brothers we know so well on the lakeside.

I would love to do another ride with you guys but the east coast is just to far. How about a ride somewhere on the west coast. You guys can do the east coast and some of us can do one on the west.

There's always room for two rallies. Leave time between them and I could ride that way too. Come up with a nice route and plan it so Eddie can be in on the action too.

I'd really like a east coast ride not sure how possible and definitely a west coast ride would be great.
After talking to Motor head at the Colorado ride about the rides he does in Oregon, I think that would a great ride for the west coast

I'd be in for that but I have to ride out to the east coast this summer on the blue ridge. Absolutely must. It could even be a pickup ride. I have always talked about it and so it will have to be two rallies for sure. Maybe a group of you guys could ride up and over to meet up. I'd be in for that. I want to make up for the rising I missed last season. I may ride the whole way out there. Leave the family in the toaster to drive up there and they can go in to Canada to meet up with her friends.

Hell, this could be the pickup ride. I am going to do this next summer and camp out along the way. Those who are in for this could all meet at the beginning and those who can't ride the whole way could meet up with us as we go along to our destination. I will start researching the routes. Motorhead, Dave, Eddie, Forrest, Loudhvx, are you guys interested? This would be a good weeks ride covering the same amount of miles or more each day that we rode at the rally.

Sorry Lawrence, but that's farther east than I've ever been in my life,, even on a plane. :S To distant for Dave and I to join that ride. Maybe another time/ place. :)

Motorhead, I'm with you its just to far for me. I would use to much vacation just getting there and back. Maybe we need to put together a Westcoast KZ ride for those of us over here.

If there is an East Coast ride this summer, I would certainly be interested in trying to get down south to a part of it! I know probably more of the members here are on the more bike-friendly west coast, and so that is maybe the easier option, but it puts it out of range for us in Eastern Canada/US.

I still have a trip out to the Canadian East Coast in the back of my mind, and this could tie in perfectly. I would be great to meet some other Zedders face to face.

I will keep an eye on this, and see where the plans go....

Jonny, I'm definitely going to do this. The last week of June and July I'll be free the whole month. The beginning of August for two weeks.
I plan on mid ohio this year. Maybe any of you guys interested could meet up there and from there we ride south through Arkansas and across to east coast and up to Canada. I'm completely free and open to ideas. I have left dates open to accommodate any of you guys that have to plan ahead. Whenever is clever. If people from the north want to ride and go the blue ridge parkway then inbox me your ideas. If we have a few riders I can guarantee that we will meet a lot of the guys that are local. If they can ride a few hundred miles with us then great. If they can meet up for a beer, awesome. I'm just going to post a date as people make commitments. We can post up on the forums and Facebook. I have no solid "have to" dates I just know I will make a point to do the east coast and west coast. I can ride and Forrest can ride and some of you guys know that have met up for the rally. We all are a bunch of fun loving hard core riders that had a great time last summer.
