sr 650 was created by jordan
Can anybody post a pic of a bone stock 650 sr. I want to have a "before and after" shot of my project. The bike started off as a 1978 sr 650. Not much of the bike was useable besides the frame. Not much paint was left, but I believ the tank was a red and black combo with yellow pinstripes. Cant really tell, but pretty sure this was the stock paint job. And if it is any help the tank was this style

Aside from the Jardine slip-ons, sissy bar, and the seat, this one I worked on last spring is fairly close to stock. The top of the tank is faded, but I think you'll get the idea.
