lushbaughs kz
20 Nov 2012 02:11
got this bike from my dad early this year it had a big nasty ltd seat which ive made a few for it since then the one in the pics needs covered and finished. it just had the head gasket installed by my dad and thats when we discovered its an 1105. the coils were junk so i replaced them with accels i had lying around, the original 8.8 wires were shot so i made aset out of a accel superstock universal kit. pet cock leaked and wiring was a butt connecter paradise. accel pump gaskets shot and much more. the gobs of single stage canary yellow paint was not only a headache and over bearing but it was peeling andn nasty. ill post pics then a list of what ive done thus far then the future mods.

it really was overdone. and it was in horrible shape. im gonna repaint it tangerine dream and powdercoat the frame black. that was a quick paint job i did to preserve the tank and use the bolt on side covers.

Yellow is a hard color to pull off. years ago the wife i had my children with told get a motorcycle she would devorce me. and no i dont miss her lol
long story short the day after we divorced found a honda 550 4 with 4 into one. had it Painted yellow
got ragged more about the yellow than tha the bike I rode with harley owners
the yellow is my favorite for something just havent found what for yet. (maybe 32 ford 3 window)
I like the yellow frame yellow paint vs yellow frame and grey paint but thats why I put tha poll on here
not sure I should do anything with the color of my frame. the gray is badaxx but the yellow frame kilss it just my opinion
is that the factory seat pan with some foam glued to it?
