keep up the good work.
just a thought. u should have a look at the springs on the back side of the clutch basket while u have it apart. u cant get at it without splitting the cases. sometimes the springs eat away at the housing, get loose or just break. then its time to replace them.

Thanks Mark, good tip! I was having a look at the manual the other night and realized how inaccessible it was once the cases are back together! Here's the evidence! One of the 6 looks a bit dodgy, a little nick or two .had a similar issue on the race bike last year, very grabby clutch...ALL the springs were sagged or busted!

Is it a big deal to replace these.

More progress...Head is stripped, valves slid out smoothly , stem seals were predictably hard and brittle.a quick bath and its off the bead blast cabinet!

Rotors are painted, clear them tomorrow! High on life..

120 x 65 - 17 front 160 x 60 -17 rear, the reason I went with these is they now eligible in Period 3 in the VRRA .

I may race it in the future...once the shine has gone ! :P

Hey guys,

Anyone know what cam chain I have? Says 219 H on it, measured it as per the manual and its well within range. If its a Tsubaki it's going back in I think!

Cheers
