Excellent job so far! It must fee really good to have a roller. If you're looking at mounting R6 rearsets, I mounted a set on my build starting about here kzrider.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&...it=20&limitstart=220 I hope it helps. Any questions, just PM me bud. Keep up the good work B)

thanks. yea it does feel like im starting to get somewhere.I checked out your thread on the rear sets.unfortunately I removed my peg bracket mounts to clear swing arm.another issue is Im 6'5 and I want to try and get the pegs in a spot where my knees arent to crouched.I wat to try and make this thing as comfortable to ride as possible.my daily ride is a older 1100 suzuki and that thing must be designed for 5 ft tall 125 pound riders.not very rider friendly.

Seems like the pipe is where you will want your feet to be. Is that the original shape fo the pipe or have you altered it ?

Oh yea thats looking like its coming along. Good idea to mock the whole thing up first, thats what I did too.
On the topic of the pegs and your height. It kinda looks like your pipe is definately gonna determine where the peg goes, so you may not be completely comfy .You may want to figure that out before the triple tree is built. the reason I say is , maybe you can machine the handlebar mounts a little taller to make it more comfy .

the pipe is a stock kerker. I plan on shortening up the collector a little.yea not to many options with peg placement.everything is kinda tight on pipe side.havent received my upper tripple yet but I have a set of decent rise fat bars for it. hope that makes it ok? with tripple, supposed to be able to turn risers 1 way or the other to move bars around?

Yes that is true, you can turn the bar mounts to set the bars closer to or further from your seating position.

You may not have noticed in my thread, but I had to remove the nuts on the end of the stock peg studs and shorten them due to conflicts with my swingarm as well.

Stock on the left, modified on the right

that shaft design is probably what ill have to do to clear the pipe and get the mount in a spot that will not be uncomfortable.probably weld it to frame and tap one end to bolt rearset to.

You lucky bastard! I can't really complain since I'm holding out for the offset triples. Looking good cameroguy. Whats next on the list?
