I e-mailed this guy asking about his Amen frame. He says he wants $500 for the frame. Has anybody ever built one of these? I have a spare 1000 motor and I've always thought it would be fun to make something a little different. Any thoughts?

Those frames were going for over a thousand bucks.

Is it the Amen or the Amen Savour?

Thank you for the advise. I have no experience with this type of frame. So, really I was looking to see your responses. If I got, 'Holy crap! That is a great frame and a great price' then I prolly would have bought it. I will stay away now. I really have too many projects not getting completed now as it is.

I built a Honda 750 chopper back in '73 using a Amen frame, it was a great frame. The one being sold here is for a 750 not a KZ1000. I would say by the time you make all the changes needed to install the KZ engine you would be better off building a frame for the KZ.
