i have a chance to get a free kz440, actuly 2 of them. one is rough, one has been garaged for many many years.

my question is are they good bikes. how are parts availability, etc....

i've looked at z1 and the seem to have very few hard parts for these bikes. not anything like the 900-1000's. i just got my 900 running, havent finished yet but a free bike tempts me... any help would be great

Yes especially if they come in 2's. Twin sisters. Make one nice and make one twisted. win/win ;)
