Long Time site fan...now an official member/kz owner with my basket case 77 kz1000 ltd. I had one of these beauties as a teen in south Fla. Gave it love for 3 years before it was stolen.... Without the carbs on it at that. Always wanted to build another. But wife and kids came along and we know how that goes. In the past 10 years or so Ive always kept my eye out for a good deal....then low and behold... In the local ads what do I see 1977 KZ1000 LTD for $400.00 RUNNING! Had that beauty on my porch by the end of the day for $350!! Im tearing it down completely and going back in with whatever it needs. Drag Style I planned on taking the next year on it...doing it up right. But 2 days after the tear down... I broke my hand...so it has taking on the name "project pain". Because any work I do to it for a month or so... Is gonna hurt like hell.


I GOT A LAUGH WHEN I OPENED THE CARBS!!!...Hey Honey I found out why there was gas coming coming thru the overflow lines....lol
