So, I folded. Plummen made me feel like a douche when he asked me my plans for the engine and they were weak sauce.

So, the Jugs are off the heads are getting Andrews Cams and oversize valves (still looking for the best deal), milled down and I finally found a hand porting guy who works for Team Ducati doing their head work, so all you CNC junkies "..." Well you know what to do. Anyway, he is a cool guy who likes to help little people on the side I guess.
So, score.

My newest dilema is whether to reuse the old piston rings. The cylinders are beutiful and I think they are fine. Since I plan to go 810 this winter I figure just clean them out and button them up. Should be riding by September for a good outlaw crosscountry backbreaking uncomfortable bad ass trip.
