Howdy.

This is my bike project. It is a 1981 Kawasaki KZ 550. It runs ok but does need some mechanical work.
Things to do before taking it out on the road

•Buy helmet
•Take safety course (I have all of 10 min riding experience all under 45mph) why would I buy a motorcycle with such little experience? I don’t know.
•Rebuild front forks (seals leak pretty bad)
•Repair swing arm bearings
•Rebuild petcock


Cosmetically speaking I don’t know what I am going to do with it yet, part of me wants to keep it just like it is but I do plan on raising the handlebars just a tad and putting a longer seat on it so that I can take a passenger eventually.
