test fitting the exhaust, at this point we weren't sure where the rear sets were going to be, plus it has the finished paint work thrown on

at this point, the rear end was sitting way too high which is making the steering really steep(not good)off to make a new set of dog bones to bring the rear down. plus the clipon that I have installed wouldn't work because they would hit the tank...need to go with a set of bar riser mounted on top of the triples, also getting ready to do the seat:

New drag bars with 40mm risers with black steel braided brake lines for coolness

New dog bones installed, the seat covered(I shaved off at least 3" off that thing) and the rear sets found a home
(crappy picture)side note, I got a new bike stand to work on

retest fitting the exhaust, it's a bit lower than the other picture because of where the rear sets went, still looks ok

Now just some random shots I took the other day, plus it shows how close I am to getting this thing back on the road. I'm about 92% finished with only a few loose odds and ends to button up. things like finding a new place for some of the electronics, getting a offset front sprocket and having the rear carrier machined down a tad so the chain has clearance, having some small items powder coated black and finding the right headlight to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my project of 5 years in the making...
