That red battery box may not be all that bad. If once it's all together I don't like it, on the fence, it's going back to black.

Ok, getting to the finally stages of reassembly on this old bike and have a question about the cable guides. I know z1enterprises has the clamps for the trees but not the fender guides. Where can I get a set for the LTD at repro or old stock new? I have a set on my other LTD but I don't really want to canabalize this bike for the future. Hopefully I will be getting a few pieces back from being modified to work and get this bike done before October is at an end.

put up a wanted add and see if someone can't throw you a bone,maybe .

What do the fender cable guides look like? I couldn't find them in the diagrams; could only find the ones on the tree. Ed

I'll take a picture and for now I'll just use the ones off of my 79. You know point where everything looks new and then some parts are old and it stands out? Almost everything on this bike is new or reconditioned. Oh and Leon, that red is poking my eye too. Going to change it out after I get rest of bike together. Want my idea to have it that color.

These are pretty nice grips and bar ends. Also, a teaser shot of the paint on bike. Signals and a few other pieces have been ordered, still need to get caliper bolts and disc bolts, measure and order braided lines. Tomorrow I will try and order the lines.

Slowly but surely.
