Hehehe, that was the diva security guard that came running out of her guard house,"haaaayyyyy haaaay. Stop." Was comical. I was totally lost with the directions given me and my iPhone couldn't even find it, my first mistake trusting an iPhone for directions , so I was way late running all around and finally I saw a street that was a different name than the street sign and went down thinking what the heck and sure enough at the end of the long road was the place. What the heck?!

I love the looks of the corbin gunfighter and lady. Did you get the backrest also? I looked at them before and i almost bought one. how comfortable is the seat? I have heard mixed reviews about them. Thats why i held off on purchasing one. I want a comfortable seat. I really like the backrest options also.

Seat looks awesome! I'm thrilled with my GFL. I put 2,000 miles on in 4 days last summer....I've never had a more comfortable seat. The kids love the backrest too and it removes with one screw. I think you'll like it.

The fit and finish look top quality. I bolted it up to the hardware today. It fits on the LTD tank nice and snug but the big tank it rubs a little bit when closing. It is probably in need of a little adjustment.
I will tell you this, I have a sergeant seat for my zrx. The stiffer the seat the more comfortable it is on long rides. I have long ridden road bikes and found that although it may seem more uncomfortable having a stiffer seat actually makes riding long distance MUCH more bearable. Motorcycle seats were no different.
It fits well. It does have a backrest as optional but I didn't get it.
I wanted to buy this seat 2-3 years ago but they wouldn't sell it to me stating that the fit was for a Z1 only, so I didn't buy it.
Then when I looked again and figured there couldn't be any real difference they bumped up the price by 70 dollars. lol Go figure.

Leon, I am wondering now if the aftermarket z1 fenders and the gennie article aren't one in the same. Just makes me wonder. I am going to see my brother again soon. Next time I am out in Cali I am going to take a ride to the z1parts.net place and check out for myself their parts cause I honestly think they have the same company making these parts.

What saddle bags are those? I've been looking for a set for quite some time but haven't seen any that look good on the bike. I really like the looks of yours!!!

Thanks for the compliments. The bags are Nelson-Rigg Spirit 40...I got them through Amazon. Next time I use them I'm going to strap them over the seat instead of under...they got a little too close to the megaphone. :S

good chance of it.it seems like he advertises that all his parts are made in japan NOT china.
stands to reason that they may be able to go back to the original mfgrs.and get them to start reproducing the parts they made originally.

i am just glad that our parts availability is so much better than it was fifteen years ago.
