i have never owned one but have always lusted after them .

Yeah, I felt that way too. I am going to do a variation of the theme as I will be using the big tank. I will keep those sharp red lines and do a checkered flag flapping in the wind going outside of the boundaries on the tank and the tail. The sidecovers I will leave the theme as is. The original body set is untouched. Looks nice but I dunno if it would be nice enough to put on this bike without a repaint.
Just gonna happen if and when I ever get back to work. We may all be flippin burgers after this strike. lol

i am a fan of checkerboard paint schemes in the right applications.

can't wait to see it.

Just finished polishing these a little bit ago.

This is the scheme I am thinking on. Was thinking about keeping the side covers 80 style and the tail and tank with this design and painted Kawasaki emblems on sidecovers and tank. What think ye all.

Just pretend its not a hardly. There are a few other ideas I had but I think this, I was already envisioning in my mind's eye, when I saw it was EXACTLY, what I was thinking. To finish it of with a Corbin gunfighter and lady seat.

Shiny, maybe I should have left them dull, now I will have to get the valve cover better. Lol

I can't believe it! The news has reached Puerto Rico even!
So many people have been misinformed that it's not even funny. The mayor is a serious psychopath. He lies so bad to everyone. He wanted us to work over a week extra and added time to the day all for free. He took our cost of living increase BEFORE we finished our contract and GAVE IT TO THE POPO as a retroactive pay raise. WTF?! That was close to being criminal but none of us complained about that. It was when they bragged about it to the other chronies and it got published in a newspaper (miracle) and how they duped us on our contract and all of the flagrant language used in front of our president and bullying that we said ENOUGH!
So, it isn't about the money like everyone thinks there are several other more important issues.
Flipping idiots put in the language of the reviews that principals use to rate teachers student input. Do you guys even have any kind of idea just how crazy and STUPID that is? Kids get an inch and they take 9 miles. They already bait teachers by saying things to them to get them upset for months before then finally when teacher has a bad day and says a few choice words to the kid who rightfully deserved to hear them it gets videotaped and aired on youtube. Some of these kids are downright evil and if they even have half a chance they will wreak havoc. Just an easy way for the board to get rid of EVERY teacher that makes more money than a beginning teacher. Hell, now with the contract teachers work for four years and are either hired or fired. Now, guess what has been happening? Suddenly, there are several new teachers bounced around the system and ultimately go elsewhere.
Is that a system of doing things that takes in to account the actual students needs? Me thinks not!

Someone might ask about how funds appropriated for education got shifted to the police department. Although, in this era nobody in political positions seems interested in following established guidelines
