This was started 3 years ago. I bought the motorcycle for 500 dollars in kansas. It ran and at that point that was all that was important. This is my first motorcycle and was really purchased to be a 'learner' bike. But after much reading on KZRider it was decided that we'd keep it and start a rebuild on it. Here is the bike after a few modifications this is probably the last time it was rideable before we started major wiring work.

Still learning how to do pictures.

Here are pictures of the original engine still in place in dirty. The bike has been modified to use K & N Filters.

Figured out they need to go into photo bucket or something of that manner so I can get multiple pictures up. So we won't be getting them up till tommorow.

Well currently it's in the garage down to the frame and nothing else. I'm going to sandblast the frame and every other piece of hardware that I can! Then probably have them powder coated but I'm still debating between that and a home paint job? One of those roads I'll have to cross in a bit right now it's grind some metal and lots of sanding

that sounds like fun i really enjoy doing that when ever i get the chance my biggest problem is that i have too many projects and i have a hard time focusing on one until it's finished so i end up bouncing from bike to bike.

The picture up top is a picture of the bike before I added the headlight and a few other pieces. Here goes the break down for the new lights blinkers and the rest of new hardware.

Rims painted silver yes it's a trashy rattle can job but it beat the gold that was on there before. The original color scheme on the spectre was horrid ebony and gold?? Was the bike going to the club?
