I need a fork emblem cover for a 1983 KZ440 LTD project.

Original part #44033-1062

I believe they were black in color. The emblem mounting points are beneath the cover. I have the original (?) mounting bracket which is approx 135mm centerline to centerline between the emblem mounting points. The bolts attaching the bracket to the bike are approx 45mm cl to cl. 

Not necessarily looking for the original cover, a chrome one would do. Could not find the original on Ebay but did find a possible substitute part # 44033-1042.

Bracket mount holes are 45 across - I'm not sure what model bike this came off of but it might work for you

Not sure, but an original Ltd fork emblem was probably chrome.  Usually it was the standard models that got it in black. but you never know. ha ha.

Appreciate the insight. I relayed that info to the owner and am now looking for a chrome one lol. Thanks again.
