Remove the grab bar/turn signal tabs on my KZ750 LTD? was created by SnyperX
So I continue to work on my '81 KZ750 LTD. I am doing cafe/brat type build. I will be chopping the fenders etc. I am also replacing the two piece seat with a one piece cafe/retro style seat. I looking at relocating the rear turn signals to the shock mounts. In doing so I no longer need the rear seat/turn signal tabs that hang down. Should I look at taking them off with my grinder or use them for something else? My current stance is to cut them off as it cleans up the rear nice. Looking for thoughts and input. Thanks for reading.

First you need to decide what you want the bike to be. Brat and cafe have very different purposes/philosophies and the designs do not mix, despite what some "builders" will say.
Once you've got that nailed down, the remaining decisions will be easier.

One of the reasons I said cafe/brat build is that I am putting a flat seat and will have a more upright riding position (bad back and can't crouch over the bike). I also am not going full minimalist with the build and keeping the side plastics etc.First you need to decide what you want the bike to be. Why do you want to remove the tabs, use it!
I use some 3 in 1 rear light/brake/indicater units.
You can also use some short Z1R rear grab bars for the clean look.
